Terms of service

1. The service

Shule Smart Technologies ("we") provides an online school management system ("the service") to the school that registers ("the school").



2. Fees

The school pays the agreed price per active student per term, as shown on its subscription invoices. Invoices are due within 30 days.
If an invoice is unpaid 14 days after the due date, access may be suspended until it is paid. The school's data is not deleted during suspension.



3. The school's data

The school owns the data it enters (students, parents, staff, marks, fees and so on). We process it only to provide the service, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania.
The school may download all its data at any time from Settings → Download our data.



4. The school's responsibilities


Get consent from parents and guardians where the law requires it, and use the data only for school purposes.

Keep passwords secret, and remove accounts for staff who leave.

Make sure SMS and other messages sent through the service are lawful and wanted.



5. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to back up data daily, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.



6. Ending the service

Either party may end the service with 30 days' notice. After that, the school may download its data for 60 days, and then it is permanently deleted.
